My Mini Review of Witness to Roswell
Speaking of Roswell… I recently finished reading Witness to Roswell: Unmasking the 60-Year Cover-Up. This book was co-authored by Thomas J. Carey and Donald R. Schmitt. Donald R. Schmitt is co-author of two best-selling books on Roswell, one of which became the TV movie Roswell (Not the TV series that I wrote about yesterday). Thomas J. Carey has devoted significant portions of the last 16 years to proactively investigating the “Roswell Incident”.
When it comes to books about the ‘Roswell Crash’ or ‘Roswell Incident’, this is one of the most complete accounts that I’ve ever read. Its well researched and documented and included quite a bit of info that I’d either never heard of before or had only read about in minute detail before.
One of the things that I really liked about ‘Witness to Roswell’ was the amount of details they were able to put together by interviewing people that were connected one way or another with the incident. And of course the sheer amount of info that they were able to coallate from various sources.
I’m not sure if this particular book or any account for that matter would actually convince any hardcore skeptics but it certainly lays out a very convincing and compelling case that something did indeed happen at Roswell and that the U.S. government did indeed cover it up.
All in all, a very good read on the Roswell Incident and cover-up. I’d recommend it for your book collection.
