Slogging My Way Through Conspiracy Type Books
Over the past few months I’ve been slogging through a whole pile of books that either mention or concentrate on various conspiracies and conspiracy theories. And I’ve got a whole bunch more to read as I’ve received some more books…
It’s been interesting and strange. Some of the reports, stories and research is doubtful, some of it seems credible to an extent and some of it is bang on in my opinion based on my own research and reading.
The conspiracies range greatly. Some of the books corroborate in part what I already know or even more interesting, corroborate other books that I’ve read recently. It’s kind of funny how that works. I’ll be reading about something in a book and I’ll come to a part or piece of info that was talked about in another book that I just read.
Sorting out everything and seeing where the threads lead can really play with the mind. Are all these seemingly seperate conspiracies related and linked or are they plays within plays?
I’ve found that to prevent information overload and extreme fear and paranoia it’s best to read this type of stuff in small doses.
One of the questions that occurs to me daily when I read either these books or the news is the question of what can one do about all this.
Greedy and even outright, totally malevolent people and beings seem totally un-stopable at times.
What can one do after reading all this research? More specifically, what can I do?
Over the years, I’ve discovered that I can personally do two things. One is to live my life to the fullest and to the best of my abilities with what I have. And the second thing that I can do is to write about these things and even talk about them too. But I’m a better writer than speaker. So, that’s what I try to do at a few of my sites. Including this new site now.
By writing about what’s going on, light can be shed on various situations and people, so they’re not hiding in the dark and getting away with it. Whether it’s re-writing history, imposing draconian laws, covering up goodness knows what — if enough people are talking about the issues then ‘they’ (the goons) have to either give up or change tactics.
It’s a long and twisted road…
