Parapsychology and the Skeptics Author Sees Scientific Evidence for ESP
Del Mar, CA, (PR.com) — Join Alex Tsakiris when he interviews author, Chris Carter for a discussion on the science of parapsychology. During the 35-minute interview Carter examines the tactics and methods of skeptical groups standing in opposition to claims of ESP and other psi effects:
“…I think magazines like Skeptical Inquirer and originations like Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal (CSICOP)… the problem is they lump scientific researchers in with all the practitioners of the occult without drawing any distinction between them.”
Carter also offers his analysis of Rupert Sheldrake’s experiments into dog telepathy and discusses the counter-claims of Dr. Richard Wiseman.

Chris Carter is a graduate of Oxford University in England. Parapsychology and the Skeptics – A Scientific Argument for the Existence of ESP is his first in a series of books examining the frontiers of human consciousness science.
Alex Tsakiris is one of a group at www.DogsThatKnow.com replicating the research of Dr. Rupert Sheldrake. This research examines the telepathic link between dog and their owners. Despite scientific and anecdotal evidence, many scientists remain skeptical of these capabilities. Researchers hope to overcome this skepticism with their new findings.
Skeptiko is the first scientifically oriented Podcast exploring new research in controversial areas of science such as telepathy, psi, parapsychology, near-death-experience, reincarnation, and after-life encounters. Each episode features open, honest debate on new scientific discoveries. The show includes interviews with top research scientists and their critics.
