This Weeks Dose of UFO Headlines
Its been a strange week in the world of UFOs in the news. Headlines I’ve been checking out:
The big UFO hoopla in the U.S. this week, would have to be the Denver Jeff Peckman press conference about the alien caught on video.
- Alien video: Puppet or real E.T.?
- Viewing E.T. film, expert is a believer
Unfortunately, for the rest of us, the video won’t be released until sometime later this year.
Also in Colorado is this story about MUFON and local sightings there: UFO Investigators Check Local Sightings
Over in Germany, A quirky marriage proposal triggers UFO alert (the guy shot those paper lanterns into the sky)
Speaking of paper lanterns… An Ardrossan Herald reader in Thailand offers an explanation for the strange objects in the skies over Saltcoats.
Also in the UK: Man spies ‘green UFO’ over town (Hmmm….)
Over in South East Asia: Vietnam reports “UFO” explosion (One theory is that its a military aircraft that no one is claiming…Judging from the wreckage photos I’m kind of inclined to that theory too.)
Closer to home (for me anyway) St. Paul, Alberta eyes out-of-this-world idea to lure visitors - A proposal from a town marketing committee calls for alien-themed garbage cans on St. Paul’s main street, providing information on crop circles and cattle mutilations, painting six blocks of green sidewalks, putting alien statues in parks and hosting UFO conferences. St. Paul built a UFO landing pad in 1967 as a Centennial project. (The article incorrectly uses the date of 1964 in the photo section of the article.)
