UFO Headlines of Interest
What’s strange and interesting in the world of UFOs this week:
Nick Pope has an interesting Op-Ed at the NY Times: Unidentified Flying Threats. I only have one little problem with this piece. Nick says: “The American government has not investigated U.F.O. sightings since 1969, when the Air Force ended Project Blue Book, an effort to scientifically analyze all sightings to see if any posed a threat to national security.”
Maybe the American government hasn’t ‘officially’ but I disagree that they haven’t been investigating. Of course I could be totally wrong on this point. Maybe the U.S. government and it’s military and spy agencies haven’t done any investigating since the closure of Project Blue Book — stranger things have happened… Stanton Friedman, as I recall believes this to be the case too (that they have been investigating).
