Bigfoot News
This weekend there was big Bigfoot news….
….Well sorta. The AP put this story out: Georgia men claim hairy, frozen corpse is Bigfoot (There’s a slideshow there.)
Unfortunately, when the article mentions youtube videos of this event they don’t link to specific videos — just to Youtube’s main page. So, I’m not sure which videos they’re refering to in the report.
The men in question who are supposed to have Bigfoot in their freezer own a company and site called Bigfoot Tracker. Unfortunately, their site isn’t currently available so I can’t see what they have to say about all this or see if they’ve made easy access to their videos.
At Youtube a search for these guys brings up lots of videos disputing their claims. If you read the AP article, perhaps you’ll also see why that’s probably the case. Or of course you could just watch the videos…
In any event, it all looks like yet another ‘great’ publicity campaign. The big failing of it though is that their website is unavailable.
Update!: From the AP: Researcher says bigfoot just a rubber gorilla suit! “Two researchers on a quest to prove the existence of Bigfoot say that the carcass encased in a block of ice — handed over to them for an undisclosed sum by two men who claimed to have found it — was slowly thawed out, and discovered to be a rubber gorilla outfit.”
