Retired RAF Wing Commander Goes Public on UFOs

LEEDS, UK — UFO DATA Magazine is pleased to announce one of this years keynote speakers at their International UFO Conference will be Wing Commander Alan Turner MBE (RAF retired). This will be Wing Commander Turner’s first public presentation detailing UFO related events he witnessed during his career.

“UFOs are a fact and I don’t care who knows because I tracked 6 of them on several military radar units during my time in the Royal Air Force.” Alan Turner was 25 when he joined the RAF as an Air Traffic Controller in l966 and he finished his career in l995 with the rank of Wing Commander. He was awarded the MBE in l984.

Commenting recently on the 6 UFOs he tracked on radar Wing Commander Turner had this to say: “The Duty Civil Supervisor drew my attention to a situation on radar the likes of which neither of us had ever encountered. This phenomenon was witnesses by 4 civil and 6 military controllers on duty at the time. After the event each person in the Operations Room who witnessed the incident was required to write a report. The Squadron Leader in charge of Operations collated the reports and informed higher authority. Within a couple of days I was interviewed in the Squadron Leader’s office by two men who were not identified to me. I, along with all the others in the Operations room on the day in question, were told in no uncertain terms not to talk about this incident until cleared to do so. I am at a loss to explain what I, and many other people saw that day on radar.”

UFO DATA Magazine’s International UFO Conference takes place: 25th & 26th October 2008, Parkside Hotel, Pontefract, West Yorkshire.
