They also talk to Roy Doliner, one of the co-authors of the book, The Sistine Secrets: Michelangelo’s Forbidden Messages in the Heart of the Vatican about his controversial non-fiction book that sheds light on Michelangelo and his paintings.
According to this new book Michelangelo’s frescos included Jewish, Kabbalistic and pagan symbols, insults directed at Pope Julius II, (who commissioned the work) and even references to his own sexuality.
