Monday’s Strange Mix
I’ve got a strange mix of strange news for you today.
Ancient Mysteries:
- I noticed over the weekend that alot of people were searching for news about the legendary Ark of The Covenant. Wondering what was up, I decided to do some searching myself. The first story that I found was at Weekly World News (I didn’t realize that they were still around): Ark of the Covenant Revealed. Trouble is it wasn’t revealed. The story is that “the head of the Orthodox Church of Ethiopia has stated that the Ark of the Covenant will be revealed to the public.” Trouble is even that isn’t accurate. I found this story today at Ethiopia Review: The Ark is not going to be revealed. As it turns out there’s been a series of articles on this story over at adnkronos.com — I think this is the first one in the series: I saw the Ark of and is in good condition.
- Egyptian Mummy, Lady Hor Really Sir Hor — Ooops.
Alien’s:
- Video & Story: ‘Alien skull’ star attraction at Leeds extra-terrestrial conference
- Driver from ‘planet Alpha Omega’ charged with DUI
Monster Tracking: Land O’Lakes nurse investigates Bigfoot sightings
Strange Criminals: Letters link Son of Sam and victims’ advocate
Strange & Interesting People: Credo: Guillermo del Toro
Tech: Photos & Story (plus a bit of video): ‘Hitler’s Stealth Fighter’ Reborn
UFO Update: – Robert Hastings, Author of UFOs and Nukes, was to be on Larry King Live on July 3, 2009. Robert has informed me that the show is being re-scheduled due to a CNN special on Michael Jackson. More info when available.
Weird Theories: Yeah, I saw this story coming… Michael Jackson Faked His Own Death? Weekly World News strikes again, plus they drag out their old prediction that MJ would do so.
Witchcraft: Horror of Kenya’s ‘witch’ lynchings
